Have you ever considered all the advice about starting an online business and thought, “That sounds exhausting.” Yeah, me too!
Everything I encountered felt like it was shouting at me to go faster, do more, and never stop! Honestly, I want to make money online; I really do. But…
- I don’t want to work 50 or 60 hours a week to get there.
- I don’t want to be blogging every day, trying to come up with new ideas, writing posts, finding pictures, checking SEO, and so on.
- I don't want to be designing new Pinterest pins daily and trying to post on Pinterest 100 times a day.
- I don't want to be figuring out Facebook's algorithm and how to keep my posts seen for the couple of hours it actually can be. And of course, making all the graphics for that.
- I don't want to be doing the same thing with Instagram.

By the time I’ve thought through all of this, and I'm sure just by reading all of the above, you can feel it too! I already feel burnt out! And I haven’t even started yet! 😂

Why I’m Building One (At 58)
I'm not a guru. I’m not famous. And I’m not trying to become either. I’m just someone who wants a life of peace, freedom, and dignity, without going broke or burning out.
At 58, I don’t want to waste time doing things that don’t work. And I don’t want to spend every day in front of a camera just to maybe make a sale.
So I decided to run an experiment: Can I build a quiet online business from scratch, using simple tools and my own story?
I don’t know the answer yet, but I’m documenting everything as I go.
